November Favourites || 2015

Hello guys! Another month has been and gone and this month I have been using so many products, old and new so this was hard to narrow down a few favourites for you all.

I'm also going to link in as many products as I can so if you wanted to purchase any of the products then all you need to do is click away on the item.

I'll kick it off with the beauty products I have been loving this month.

Firstly I've been absolutely loving my Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Intensive Daily Moisturiser. The weather at the moment has been so horrible. All the wind and rain has been making my face so dry and sore. I was having a rummage in my draws and found my Elizabeth Arden cream. I thought that I had used it all up and binned it months ago but it turns out that I had a bit left (don't you just love it when things like that happen). I started using this in the mornings under my foundation and you could a difference within a couple of days. I totally forgot how good it is and how much I love it. It is one of my more pricey moisturizers that I own but for something that works as well as this does I don't see any harm in spending that little bit more. As you can tell by the picture it is very nearly empty now but I'm going to be repurchasing next time I go shopping. Absolutely love it.

Next is the Tanya Burr Hollywood Palette. I have been using this palette nearly every day this month, and come to think of it all during October too. It's so stunning. All of the colours are so beautiful as is the packaging. 'Bookworm' is the perfect brown/copper shade while all of the golds in the palette compliment it so beautifully. 'Enchanment' is my absolute favourite, it's so pigmented and glittery.
I need to get my hands on the other palettes ASAP. The palettes are such a steal at only £6. I would honestly say they are MAC quality.
All of her products are available on the Superdrug website and on FeelUnique.com

And then moving onto one of my favourite finds this month which is the L'Oreal Infallible Matte foundation in Vanilla. I'm normally a Nars Sheer Glow or a Mac Studio Fix girl, but I had heard great things about this foundation and at a snippet of the price that I usually pay for foundation. It is so good I'm sold by it. The coverage is amazing and it gives you an actual flawless finish and it's so long lasting. I'm really pale so it can be hard to find a good drug store foundation that doesn't make me look yellow or seriously ill but this is a perfect shade for me. I've had so many compliments by friends and family when I've been wearing this i'm so impressed! The packing isn't that exciting but I honestly don't care as the product itself is so brilliant. I've been recommending this to everyone.

I have also been using my Jimmy Choo perfume every day this month. It's always been one of my absolute favourite scents of all time and I always come back to it. I honestly don't think that I will ever get bored of it to be honest! I think the bottle is so lovely and looks lovely on my dresser.Love, love, love.

Another lovely smelling thing that I've been obsessed with is the Soap and Glory Body Mist in Orangeasm. I've been using this to freshen myself up at work and it is just such a lovely product.It's really handy to have in your handbag so whenever you want to spruce yourself up its easy to grab. I also bought my mum the lime scent at the same time and I know that she's been loving it too. I'm that impressed that I've even bought my Mother-in-Law a set of them for Christmas (that is how good I think they are!). I will definitely be repurchasing when it runs out.

The weather has been really tough on my hair and I'd been noticing that it was starting to get a bit on the dry side and was starting to break easily. I made in trip to Boots in a mad desperation to find something to help. I would normally reach for Aussie products but I thought i'd try something different and I picked up this OGX oil based serum in a beautiful coconut scent and oh my life it's such a good product. It works really well on my hair and in a short amount of time I've noticed a huge difference. My split ends look none existent and my hair is in generally a much better condition. Hugely recommend this!

Moving swiftly on to one of my big loves in life, candles. To be more specific, Yankee Candles. I was in ASDA the other day just having a mooch and I found all of the new Yankee Candle Home Christmas tart melts.I use my tart burner nearly every day so I thought i'd treat myself to a few new festive scents. After putting 13 in my basket (whoops...) I was already happy with my purchases. Then I got home and lit up and I have not been disappointed. They filled my home with the most gorgeous scent and it smelt like CHRISTMAS! Best thing ever. I bought the Christmas Baking, Simply Cinnamon, Toasted Marshmallow, Apple Crumble, Cranberry Zest, Merry Berry, Candy Canes, Apple Spiced Potpourri and a couple more I cant remember of the top of my head. All of them smell so delicious and just want you need to make you feel all festive.

*I don't think these are available online but there are so many in-store!*

Sticking to candles I have been loving my little fox tealight holder which I have had for ages now but he has been moved to pride of place on my coffee table. He looks so cute and festive I absolutely love it. Unfortunately I can't link to buy as I've had him for a while and can't remember where I got him from!

So cute!

And finally,moving onto my food favourites. This month I have been obsessed with coffee. It helps with the horrible cold mornings to actually give me a bit of motivation to get out of bed and then to give me the energy that I need to get dressed. I have been loving Beanies Amaretto Almond coffee. I think I got this from Sainsbury's at the beginning of the month and it is so tasty. It tastes naughty like I'm drinking a nice liquor coffee. Its only 2 calories a cup (win). They have different flavours too which sound so tasty like Gingerbread and Cinder Toffee and loads of others all on their website. I'm so going to buy some more. Merry Coffeemas to me!

And last but not least is Almond Milk. Boring I know but I have been loving it sooo much this month. I've made the change and trying to cut out dairy as much as I can as it does not agree with me. Struggling massively to part with my beloved cheese so I thought I'd cut out regular milk. I did have regular Soya milk for a while but I got pretty bored of it so I've been trying all the other variations of milks available. Almond milk is 100% my favourite. I love nuts (oo-er) and it leaves a lovely subtle taste. I've been having it in  my porridge, tea, coffee and my favourite combination is in a bowl of Crunch Nut. So good. I haven't been feeling as sluggish as I usually do after milk consumption which is a big win.

So guys that is my big babbling list of everything I have been loving this month. I'd love to know what you have all been loving too so don't be shy and leave me a comment below! Do you also love anything products I have been?
I'm also on Bloglovin' now so if you search 'withbeth' I should come up and press that follow button so  you never miss an upcoming post.

My Favourite Youtubers || 2015

Hello everyone good evening, hope you have all had a lovely day!
It is time for my next edition of my yearly favourites. This week it is YouTubers. I watch YouTube every day, it allows me to escape from reality for a an hour a day which is very therapeutic after a mental day at work.

This year I have become subscribed to some people who I think are truly lovely people. It's weird because you start to feel like you know these people personally and you start to get attached to them.
I decided this final list (was tough as i'm subscribed to quite a lot of people, but these YouTubers I find that as soon as a new video appears n my subscription box I want to watch it straight away. So here we go...

1. Meg Says

This girl is quite possibly the sweetest person on the planet. Her personality shines through her videos and they become very addictive . The videos are so well edited and you know that she puts everything into them. Even though she suffers from a chronic illness she still has a thirst for life and it's so inspirational. Her beauty and fashion tips are spot on and she is also absolutely stunning. Its been so nice seeing her channel grow to nearly 30,000 subs, she fully deserves it and many more!
One of my favourite videos is her accent tag with her best friend Josh, who equally seems just as lovely and so hilarious. If you ever read this Meg then thank you for all of your videos and I can't wait to see more next year!

2.  Gabriella (velvet gh0st)

I actually love Gabby. I've only been subscribed for a few months but I think I've caught up on most of her videos ever made. Her personality is infectious and she can really made me laugh. Her accent is also amazing. Her videos are so well edited,watch her Disneyland Paris one if you don't believe me! In a nutshell I just think she's lovely and I feel like i'd really get on with her in person.
Cheers for all the effort and time you take to make your videos! And her cat Nelly is the cutest thing in the world.

3.The TimTracker

I've been watching Tim and Jenn for nearly 2 years now and I still watch every video, every single day. They are such a down to earth couple and they share their lives with everyone every day which is an admirable thing in itself. I started watching for their theme park videos as they live in Orlando and their videos in the parks are the best on YouTube. If you love Disney World or Universal parks then watch these guys. Tim also has the best moustache you will ever see in your life.

Man that was hard to narrow down.

I hope anyone reading will check out these lovely people.

Who are your favourite YouTubers? Let me know in the comments down below so I can check them out. Or if any of you have your own channel I'd love to see!

The Fall Tag ||

Hello people! I am back with a super cute fall tag. I got the idea from the lovely Frankie from the YouTube channel @frankiessay. Click here to watch!

I thought this was a really cute little tag Q&A and as I'm really feeling autumn this year so I'm going to answer these for you!

1. Favourite Fall Lip Product ||

I love a berry lip. Darker lipsticks definately suit me best. It's a toss up between Kate Moss 107 rimmel lipstick or MAC Diva. Both are lovely deep colours and are both so long lasting. This time of year I always reach for these two. Kate Moss 107 is more of a deep red, and MAC diva is more purple toned.

2. Favourite Fall Nail Polish ||

Unfortunately due to my job I can't wear nail polish day to day. I also bite my nails (rank habit I know, I know) but it's a weird anxiety thing that I've just always done. In saying this the vast majority of my nail polishes that I own are all burgundy, red and purple shades anyway for when my nails are looking okay or if I'm off work for a bit. My favourite in my collection is probably my Rimmel 60 second dry in Black Cherry.

3. Favourite Starbucks Drink ||

There is only one Starbucks where I live which sucks where there are about 373829292 Costas. When I do go to Starbucks I love Caramel Macchiatos. If you have never tried one then please do. They're so good. At Costa though I do love a good gingerbread latte. Or if I'm feeling particularly festive I'll have a cinnamon cappuccino. Mmmmmmmm. Man I love coffee.

4. Favourite Fall Candle ||

Candles are my fave thing all year round so this is a toughy. This time of year I love nothing more than snuggling on my sofa watching films with lots of candles lit. Probably my favourite is the Yankee Candle cinnamon stick cause let's be honest it just smells Christmassy and just lovely. Another favourite has been the Yankee Candle Black cherry too, so so goooood.

5. Favourite Fall Accessory ||

A couple of months ago I bought the most perfect hat from Topshop. I love a good floppy hat and I'd been searching for a nice beige coloured one for ages. Had one of those shopping trance moments where I walked in, saw it, bought it straight away. I wore this every day in Amsterdam last month and I abolutely love it. Not bad for £28 as I will getting my wear out of it.

6. Haunted House, Haunted Tractor Ride or Corn Maze ||

100% haunted house. I'd definitely shit my pants in the process but it would be loads of fun with s group of friends.

7. Favourite Halloween Film ||

This is tough but the film I watch every Halloween without fail is Tim Burtuns Nightmare Before Christmas. And also at Christmas. It's such a classic.

8. What Are You Dressing Up as for Halloween? ||

Well Halloween has been and gone for another year. It's probably my favourite day of the year. I love fancy dress and face paints and SFX. I like to get creative with costumes. This year I was torn between a velociraptor and a freaky clown. In the end I went with freaky clown as I couldn't find any lizard/dinosaur outfits. In the end I made my own clown costume after attacking an old play suit and gluing shit loads of pom-poms on there. It turned out pretty good!

9. Favourite Candy To Eat at Halloween? ||

This is tough as sweets are my favourite thing in general. I love Parma violets and any sour sweets.

10. Favourite Thing About Fall? ||

Probably walking my dogs first thing in the morning and where the leaves on the ground are all crispy and the sound of the dogs running on them is one of my favourite sounds in the world. I also love dark evenings and getting all cosy on the sofa watching all the good TV that always seems to start in the autumn time.

So that's all the questions guys! What are your favourite things about the autumn time? I tag anyone who reads this and wants to answer the questions!

Favourite Contour Products || 2015

So this year is coming to a very fast close. *insert 'wow this year has gone so fast I can't believe it' line here* .
Every week I'm going to be doing a post of some of my favourite things of this year and what have been my go to products etc. Also it's a good excuse for me to have a good old rummage through my makeup draws. To keep it short and sweet I will choose my top 3.

This week Its contouring. In all honesty at the beginning of the year I was pretty shit at contouring. Needing to keep telling myself that a line of bronzer on my cheeks and a bit on my temples with a touch of highlighter definitely doesn't make me Kim K. If I say so myself I feel that I have finally mastered it with thanks to the right products and very in depth YouTube tutorials. Cheers Tanya Burr, I owe you one.

1. Sleek contour palette || Light
This is my ultimate go to when I want to look like my face isn't actually as spherical as what it is. I'm rather pale but the bronzing powder isn't too scary and dark but gives me enough shadow. The blush in this palette is a really sweet soft pink which is nice and natural and not too overpowering. The highlighter isn't the best highlighter in the world in my opinion but it's good enough. I much prefer a cream highlight and this is a powder. It's such a handy little palette that you can pop in your handbag on a night out or just any day you want you make your face look extra jazzy. I'm sure I only paid £6.99 in Superdrug so next time you're in store have a look. They also have a medium and a dark palette too.

2. Mac select cover up concealer || NW15
This concealer is sent by the gods. I had seen so many people rave about it so I bought it and I absolutely love it. I think it was back in May when I purchased it and I have never been disappointed. It's a perfect under the eye shade and compliments a good contour. I also use this on my forehead, bridge if my nose and my chin and it blends great with my foundation. I always seem to get complimented by friends and family that my face is looking radiant which is always nice.  Go buy one right now you won't regret it.

3. Real Techniques Bold Metals collection || Flat Contour Brush
I got this brush in February and I use it literally every time I decide to contour. The brush is perfect for my face. The brush is so soft and a really good length. It's not too long which is handy as it feels like it gets straight to what it's gotta do. It's nice and firm too. It is a more pricier brush (£22) but I can see myself having this brush for a very long time so it's definitely worth the investment. Also this brush collection look the most beautiful on my dressing table I can't even explain.

That is this weeks edition of my favourites of the year. What are your favourite contour products that you've been loving? And ones not so great? Let me know in the comments. See you soon!

P.s apologies for the lack of pictures in this, I can't find my memory card for the life of me.

New start, fresh look

Well hello everyone! After a really embarrassing 7 months from my last post on my old blog I really need to get my arse into gear. I can't think of a better time to start blogging again than right now. My blog image has had a little makeover and I'm so much happier with it. It felt a bit like faffing around with piczo for a bit (if you remember piczo then you'll understand that you are on the brink of craziness until it's just how you want it). I feel that this is matching my personal image also as I'm feeling more confident and fresh in my look. I think I alwats feel like this in A/W. No clue why, maybe it's because it's all of the comfy jumpers.

I've got soooo many exciting things coming up that I cannot wait to share with you. So stay posted and follow for all to come!

Love Beth x
